I loaded this post from my new phone so you may need to click on the pictures to get them to show the full view. I noticed on the train picture Madilynn's face was cutoff.

Summer is finally here!
Its about time summer finally came. June dragged on with rain and cloudy cool weather. Madi finished up 2nd grade and Mitchell is now done with pre-K. They both will be enrolled in the fall at the same elementary school and hopefully Madi will be a nice big sister and look out for her little brother. Big Mitchell was planning to work for the summer but we are awaiting news on a broken thumb and wrist to see what kind of surgery he needs. With 2 sisters high school graduations and other family events we spent 3 weekends in a row in portland area so its nice to have no plans for July so far. We are getting a chance to relax at home.
Archie got nuetered this past weekend so lets hope he calms down some. Otherwise he has been a fun and loving dog, just a little too excited about the lady dogs!
4th of July was a quiet day at home with our own fireworks and the kids had a blast even though it was just the four of us. They are looking forward to camping at the coast with Grandma and Grandpa, Mormor and their cousins this weekend.

Spring might finally be here!?
Here it is already May! Actually looking at the date its Cinco De Mayo and today is my dad and Claudia’s 10th Wedding anniversary! Congrats!
We have had several busy weeks! Spring break in March was a low key week of Mitchell home with the kids. My job has been very busy so I am so grateful I have a husband around to help so much with the kids and the house. Sometimes its really hard not having him working but he is doing well in his classes. Sometimes I really dislike my 40 minutes commute but at the same time how can I complain when I have a good job that I like in this economy.
Archie has really come around with our training we have been working on. He has turned into the most wonderful family pet. The kids love playing with him in the backyard. We still need to get him neutered, he really loves to smell and leave his mark everywhere he can try which makes walks frustrating sometimes. I am trying to make him be my running buddy but sometimes its too frustrating taking him along. The weather has just been awful for too long here in the Willamette Valley. It was a record wet April. I am dying for some sunshine and spring weather! My goal to is to keep working out and run more and longer. I want to run a half marathon (13.1 miles) either later this fall or next year.
Madilynn turned 8 in April and we had a Spa Theme Birthday party for 10 girls. Oh goodness it was a great time. I will post pictures in another blog post.
We spent a weekend in April at the Oceanside Open with my dad and Claudia. It was sunny and warm at the Oregon coast. We could not have asked for a better relaxing weekend! I swear it was the only sunny days we had I April so we really lucked out! Madilynn took her first paragliding flight with Grandpa Mark. We also visited the Tillamook Cheese/Ice Cream Factory.
Then the next weekend my mom and I drove had a mini road trip with my kids to Medford. It was her first time meeting Jim’s baby Link. We had a great quick trip just hanging out and babysitting so the new mom and dad could have a date night. Madilynn just loves babies and she was all over him the whole time we were there.
This week my husband is fighting strep throat and Madilynn has soccer and swim lessons now. Always busy in my house it seems. This weekend we are looking forward to Dad and Claudia coming down for the kids soccer games on Saturday. All I want for Mothers Day is to get a photo session done of my kids. I have a groupon for Sears portrait studios that I have been staring at for weeks. Time to cash that in!

2011 is going too fast!
I have not even downloaded Christmas pictures from my camera to the computer, thats how busy I have felt. Between moving, getting a dog (that needs some more training!) and the usual daily stuff of work, school, kids, etc...I feel like time never slows down. My little brother Jim and Jenny had their baby: Link Eros Sanzone on February 15, 2011. I am so excited to head to Medford to meet him on March 5th. Tomorrow (Feb 26) is little Mitchell's 5th Birthday! We are having a monster truck themed birthday party at our house. I can't believe he is already 5. He is not my baby anymore that is for sure. Next fall he will be in Kindergarden. We already got him a Toy Story3 bike with training wheels that he is already mastering. Boys are so different than girls. Madi was timid and scared on her big kid bike but not Mitchell. My hubby and I are really hoping to join some friends in September in Vegas to celebrate birthdays. We have not been on a vacation together in about 8 years so its much needed!!!!! Now to keep up my excersize and get swimsuit ready! Its going to be a busy year. Pictures will someday make it on this blog....I hope!

Happy New Year!
My my the end of 2010 went by so fast!
We celebrated Thanksgiving in Portland with the usual chaos of bouncing around from house to house to visit all the family. We spent 5 or 6 days total staying at my dad's house. We were busy! Mormor was there and we went and cut down a tree for Grandpa and Grandma's house.
The kids were well behaved and it was a nice break from the busy weeks we have of school and work.
Christmas we made it down to California to visit all the Sanzone and Bangs family. We spent 8 days down there and enjoying it thoroughly. The best part was that the 8 hour drive each way was so calm and easy! No bad weather and the kids were angels. Not what I was expecting but maybe now that they are getting older we can do more long road trips in the future!
Christmas was scaled down this year but the kids were still spoiled and got lots of cool stuff that they were hoping for. On Christmas Eve we got the word from the landlord regarding a house we applied to rent that we were okay to move in! So now thats its January we are in a blur of back to school, back to work, and moving! We are so excited to have a nice yard, deck, and culdesac for the kids to play. We spent the last weekend painting. Mitchell and I have been together for 10 years now and we have never been able to paint the walls wherever we have lived. Its a small touch but its a huge deal for me! I am so excited to make it my own home. Pics to come soon!
